What Inspired This Site
Thank you, Austin Kleon, for Show Your Work! This book helped me embrace the PowerShift Principle of Clarity, and inspired me to show up here, sharing as much transparency as I can stomach (and hopefully you can, too!). I believe creativity isn't about perfection; it's about sharing what you're working on - experiments, failures, and breakthroughs!
Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Accelerated Change
Looking back, 2024 was epic in so many ways, and for me specifically, one of those rare “dark night of the soul” years. Fundamental shifts shook me to the core. We've all been there, of course--some of us multiple times. 2024 was a year of massive uncertainty and upheaval, but also profound transformation.
AI--and soon AGI--is reshaping everything at a pace that still takes my breath away. For me, this past year marked a pivotal shift: stepping away from the well-known role of professional Knowledge Worker into the emerging frontier of the AI-augmented Prompt Worker. AI is not just about adopting new tools; it's about embracing a new mindset--one rooted in purpose, agency, creativity, and transparency.
My hope is that as I make my work visible and share experiments and lessons learned, you will feel motivated to explore alongside me. Here's to an amazing 2025!
